Your son is about to choose the subjects he will study in the next two years. The school offers a wide range of pathways and exam specifications to suit his abilities and career aspirations. This year we are hosting a joint Year 10 & Year 12 Options Information afternoon and this will be held on Tuesday the 19th March.
The afternoon will begin with general information appropriate to each key stage in the Assembly Hall for approximately 30 minutes as follows:
Year 10 at 1.00pm
Year 12 at 2.00pm
The purpose of this session is to explain the process of choosing subjects at this important stage and to outline the various course options available to your son. After this you will be able to speak to subject teachers who will be available for consultation and answer any questions about the courses on offer. You will also be able to speak with DE Careers Advisors.
Making the right decision is vital for his future academic choices and the career path he may wish to follow. In De La Salle College we want every pupil to have the maximum chance of success and to be as involved as possible in deciding their own future. This is a vital time in assisting them to make the right decisions and your attendance at this event is very important.
